AI and Law – Chat GPT passed the Bar Exam and scored higher than the human average. This shows that in theory Chat GPT could be a decent lawyer. However, when a lawyer used it for his document write-ups, Chat GPT spit out a lot of false information which did not hold up in court. This shows that in practice, Chat GPT is not idea for law.
Chat GPT also is not sufficient in writing up Case summaries as it creates information that is not relevant or true. In this instance, it provides a disclaimer saying to seek assistance from a legal attorney.
AI can help with structuring briefs, research, proofreading, risk assessment, and does not get tired or distracted. This can be a time saver and broaden access to lawyers.
I also did my Generative Fill demo and showed how to edit an image in Photoshop using AI. Below is the image I used, and the waterfall is AI generated.
